As part of the strategic development of Acorn Buying & Marketing, it was important that we also introduced a distribution function for wholesalers who do not currently have direct accounts with some suppliers, or who do not get the terms advantages they require to grow their businesses.

Acorn Central Distribution is an on-line ordering structure that ultimately allows wholesalers to develop product areas with a growth in volume enabling them to purchase direct. 

The Acorn On-Line Central Distribution system will also provide wholesalers with promotional structures that they can then utilise within their own business and will also deliver images of products if they wish to produce their own point of sale material for either leaflets or for their retail customers.

Acorn Central Distribution is designed specifically to assist wholesalers in growing their turnover to a level where a direct account is available. 

It is not designed to be a permanent fixture within their business and it is not the strategic intention of either Acorn Buying & Marketing or Sugro to grow a distribution model that ultimately could be seen as competitive against its own members as it does appear to be with at least two of our competitors.
