Sugro UK is made up of 51 strategically located wholesale distributors with a long tradition in providing the highest and sustained levels of service and quality to its customers. Many of our wholesale distributors have operated on a local basis through the generations and are well known and well established with their customers.The quality of range and flexibility of supply is difficult for our competitors to match and that level of personal service through local representative calling and telesales communication revolves around an understanding of how your retail business operates and how we can best provide the requirements that you seek. Many of our depots operate ‘Day 1 for Day 3’ delivery
cycles – some even offer same-day deliveries, depending on time and
placement of order. Service and availability is second to none and
with a primary customer range targeted towards the impulse
sector, many of our customers are CTNs, together with an ever-growing
number of convenience stores who prefer the reliability and specialisation
of our wholesale distributors. Sugro has also created a national Contract Supply
Division, which operates from 21 delivery depots, with personalised
delivery notes, EDI bureau services, central invoice and statement,
and national contract pricing.This can run on a price basis or a distribution
fee basis, depending on the requirements of the customer. This network
has the capability to satisfy the most demanding requirements of all
of our contract clients simply, effectively and efficiently. Sugro is a member of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) and is represented on the main FWD Council by Philip Jenkins. Sugro is also a member of the European Tobacco Association (ETV) vending group, which is a trade body operating within Brussels on behalf of nine European Countries.
